We are seeking a passionate and skilled School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team in Green Cove Springs. In this role, you will empower students to develop essential skills, achieve independence, and succeed in their educational environment. Must-Have Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s or Clinical Doctorate).
• Current OT license (or eligibility) in the United States.
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability in dynamic school settings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in documentation and report writing.
• Positive, student-centered attitude with outstanding interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized treatment plans to enhance fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and daily living activities.
• Implement therapy sessions focused on stretching, strengthening, and improving flexibility to restore mobility and muscle strength.
• Support students with developmental delays in achieving independence in self-care tasks such as dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Address sensory processing and attention issues to promote focus and positive social interactions in the classroom.
• Provide strategies for students with behavioral challenges, including anger management and coping skills.
• Recommend and assist with specialized equipment, including wheelchairs and communication aids, to meet student needs.
