For our Equity Research Team in London we are looking to hire an
Equity Research Associate – Industrials

What will you do?

• Conducting research on a range of companies across the Industrials sector (primarily Capital Goods but also supporting Aerospace and Defence)
• Researching and reviewing company accounts/reports, analysing trends and newsflow within the industry, and helping write research notes on companies within the sector
• Attendance at company presentations, conferences, events, and meetings with company management
• Building, updating and maintaining excel-based financial models in a timely manner.
• Undertaking various tasks associated with the research function, updating databases useful for analysis, reviewing and archiving research material

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience as an Equity Research Analyst is helpful but not a requisite. Exposure to Industrial and/or Capital Goods sectors, either in industry/consulting or from within an accountancy firm, would be advantageous
• ACA Qualification with 1st time passes at one of the Big 4 accounting firms is a significant advantage
• Degree level education or equivalent experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of detailed analytical work and numerically astute
• Knowledge of company valuations, financial modelling, and accounting principles
• Advanced IT skills, including all standard Office applications
• Visa sponsorship to work in the United Kingdom is supported
