Begin date: 4/1/2026 Full Time: Yes Number of Workers Requested: 2 Job Duties: Workers will perform seasonal agricultural tasks related to grain handling and storage. Duties require prior experience with grain elevator operations and include unloading grain from trucks, directing grain into appropriate bins or storage areas, and operating equipment such as augers, conveyors, and bin sweeps. Workers must monitor grain flow for proper intake and manage equipment to ensure efficient movement and storage. Tasks also involve cleaning grain pits, sweeping and shoveling grain spillage, and maintaining clean, hazard-free work areas. Additional responsibilities include loading grain for outbound shipment, collecting and testing grain samples, checking moisture levels, and recording weights and quality data accurately. Workers will assist with routine maintenance and general facility upkeep. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions, and a solid understanding of safe handling practices for agricultural products. Experience is essential to operate equipment efficiently, identify and respond to grain quality issues, and maintain workflow during peak season. This temporary position addresses seasonal labor needs during the harvest and post-harvest period from April through December, when crop intake and storage activities exceed the capacity of the year-round workforce. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain. Skill Level II Experienced LevelPursuant to the Interim Final Rule (IFR) implementing the new four-level wage system for H-2A occupations, the employer designates this position as Skill Level II Experienced Level, indicating that the job requires prior related experience, independent judgment in performing recurring tasks, and the ability to work with limited supervision.
