About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and hands-on
Site Supervisor to join our construction team in commercial projects including Class 2 buildings. You will oversee day-to-day site activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily site operations to achieve program, budget, and quality targets.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with project plans.
- Monitor site safety, ensuring all workers comply with WHS regulations and company policies.
- Lead and coordinate excavation activities on site, ensuring proper use of earthmoving equipment and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily site diaries, safety reports, and material deliveries.
- Organise and direct the daily activities of company labourers, monitor work quality, and manage performance to meet project standards.
- Track construction activities with professional project management software.
What You’ll Bring- Relevant qualification (Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building, or related field) preferred.
- Prior experience in site supervision or construction is highly regarded, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- English and fluent Mandarin Chinese required (essential) to coordinate with overseas suppliers and subcontractors.
- Confident communicator and negotiator.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Must hold a valid driver’s licence and have own car.
- Availability across Monday - Saturday.
- Must possess Australian working rights; Visa sponsorship pathway available for long-term employees.
