OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pastoral Support Worker to join our vibrant educational community.   • Build trusting relationships with students to promote their emotional well-being and personal development
  • Provide one-on-one mentoring sessions to support students facing social or emotional challenges
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to identify students who may benefit from additional pastoral care
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behavior and mental health within the school community
  • Support students with special educational needs by adapting approaches to meet individual requirements
  • Organize and facilitate group activities that encourage social skills, confidence, and resilience
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, concerns, and interventions for safeguarding purposes

Skills
  • Proven experience working with children or young people in an educational or youth work setting
  • Strong understanding of teaching methods and strategies for supporting diverse learners, including those with special education needs
  • Excellent mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Effective communication skills to engage confidently with students, staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies
  • Passion for fostering inclusive environments where every student feels valued and supported

Pay: £25,420.00-£31,200.00 per yearBenefits:
