As part of our growing team, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refrigeration Mechanic Technician to contribute to our success.Job Description: We are currently seeking a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration & HVAC systems, a keen eye for detail, the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of refrigeration equipment and be able to work as part of a busy service team.Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems, including commercial refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioning units.
• Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
• Diagnose malfunctions in refrigeration systems and components, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration principles and testing instruments.
• Conduct preventative maintenance activities to prolong the life of refrigeration equipment and reduce the likelihood of breakdowns.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency situations, addressing issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate repair and maintenance activities.
• Keep accurate records and reports of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and hours worked.
• Work on an On Call emergency breakdown Rota

Requirements:

• Fluent English - Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or in a similar role.
• Certification in refrigeration repair or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulations.
• Full clean EU driving license
• Knowledge of C02 desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
• Safe Pass
• Manual Handling
• F-Gas Certification
