Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity: · Working across Middlemore Hospital and the Manukau Health Park in South Auckland, we are currently seeking applications for Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist positions to join our Women's Health Service. · We are looking for General Obstetricians and Gynaecologists with a predominant Obstetric interest who wish to join and work in the busiest maternity unit in New Zealand with diverse multi-ethnic and areas of high need population. The unit works with a large multi-specialty Obstetric medicine team and MFM team looking after 7000+ births per annum. We are happy to support applicants who wish to further develop their skills in Maternal medicine / Obstetric ultrasound/ Diabetes in Pregnancy. You will be participating in a 1:20 after-hours roster with a generous after hours allowance in addition to the base salary. The roster includes an onsite night shift. · The unit is accredited as a RANZCOG training site which adds to the enjoyment of working here with trainees across the continuum of their training. · With a growing population base and a commitment to research, innovation and quality, Counties Manukau District has many attractive opportunities.
