We proudly celebrated our 30th anniversary next year.At the end of 2023, we farewelled our cherished home location in Chifley Tower after twenty-one remarkable years due to the Tower’s redevelopment project. Reflecting on the past years, we are filled with gratitude for the kindness and unwavering support we've received from our loyal customers. We now are in the final process of relocating to new premises in Sydney CBD and looking for additional new staff to help us build another world-class Azuma with us. Senior Food and Beverage Attendant – Fine Japanese Dining About the Role:Azuma is looking for a passionate and experienced Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team. If you’re dedicated to providing excellent service and have a love for Japanese cuisine, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:
  • Exceptional Service: Provide top-quality service to guests, always maintaining professionalism and a friendly attitude.
  • Menu & Beverage Knowledge: Confidently recommend menu items and wine pairings, with a focus on Japanese cuisine.
  • Guest Relations: Build strong relationships with regular guests and manage reservations.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Handle customer concerns with care and ensure all guests have a memorable experience.
  • Teamwork: Work well with the team to ensure smooth service and efficient operations.
  • Stock Management: Monitor and manage stock, place orders, and conduct monthly stocktakes.
  • Dietary Knowledge: Be aware of food allergies and dietary needs, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.

About You:
  • Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role in fine dining or a high-volume setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and Japanese cuisine.
  • A positive, friendly attitude and a professional approach to work.
  • Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) qualification and valid Australian work rights.
  • A solid understanding of Japanese food culture is a must.
