Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and effectively communicating our value proposition. This role requires a proactive approach to sales and a strong understanding of market trends within our industry. Responsibilities▪ Liaising with senior staff to determine the range of African food products to besold both instore and online.▪ Contributing to the development of sales strategies and setting of sales targetsspecific to African groceries.▪ Discussing customer requirements, conducting surveys, and analysingcustomer reactions to African food products, packaging, and pricing.▪ Assisting with marketing campaigns and promotional activities and conductingmarket research related to African groceries.▪ Obtaining customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction within theAfrican food sector.▪ Developing digital marketing strategies, such as the use of social media, topromote products, brands or services and presents options to the client▪ Producing reports and recommendations on marketing and sales strategies forsenior management.▪ Keeping up to date with food trends, products, and competitor activities. - A strong understanding of the African food business, including knowledge of traditional African groceries, market trends, and customer preferences, is essential.
