An opportunity has opened within a well established and growing multidisciplinary team providing rehabilitation services across the central region. Based in Palmerston North, You will be working alongside experienced health professionals delivering psychology services to clients under ACC and private contracts. The work is engaging and purposeful, supporting people through recovery after injury, pain management and complex rehabilitation journeys.
The role: You will provide clinical psychology input across a broad range of presentations, tailoring rehabilitation plans to meet individual client needs. This includes completing assessments, developing recommendations, and working closely with referrers to ensure high quality, timely reporting. You will be supported to work at the top of your scope, with flexibility built around how and when you work.
What you will be doing - Deliver psychology assessment and rehabilitation support to a diverse client group
- Manage clients across varying stages of injury and complexity
- Provide clear, timely clinical reports and referrer communication
- Work collaboratively within a highly experienced MDT
- What we are looking for
- NZ registered Clinical Psychologist with a current APC
- Strong clinical judgement and people skills
- Full NZ driver licence
- Open to international applicants who meet NZ registration requirements
