Job Description:
Cabinet Maker / Joiner Southern City Bathroom Renovations – Bunbury, WA Southern City Bathroom Renovations is a well-established, family-owned business based in Bunbury, Western Australia. We provide end-to-end renovation services for residential and commercial projects, including new builds and renovations. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
  1. Interpreting technical drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine project requirements and prepare accurate cutting lists
  2. Selecting and sourcing suitable materials, including solid timber, veneers, particleboard, and engineered wood products
  3. Operating hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to mark out, cut, shape, and assemble components
  4. Manufacturing and assembling cabinetry, furniture, and joinery items, including the installation of hardware such as hinges, drawers, and fittings
  5. Applying protective or decorative finishes, including paints, varnishes, or coatings where required
  6. Installing completed cabinetry and joinery in residential and commercial environments, including kitchens and bathrooms
  7. Undertaking repair, refurbishment, or reproduction work on existing furniture and joinery as required

Working Hours
  1. Ordinary hours are Monday to Friday
  2. Work is generally scheduled between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, by agreement
  3. Employees are expected to manage their time effectively to meet agreed deadlines and communicate any variations as required

Remuneration and Benefits
  1. Annual salary starting from AUD $76,150, inclusive of four weeks’ paid annual leave
  2. Fully maintained company vehicle provided
  3. All tools and personal protective equipment supplied
  4. Superannuation contributions paid in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992

Role Requirements
  1. Availability to work Monday to Friday
  2. A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience in cabinet making or joinery
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  5. Work visa sponsorship may be available for suitable candidates
  6. Expected commencement: Immediate, subject to availability
