Our client is a leading food service and restaurant chain in Singapore and they are seeking a Food Technologist to establish and manage the applications laboratory while driving product development initiatives to support their operations.
This role is responsible for the conceptualization, development, testing, and scale-up of new recipes, as well as the continuous improvement of existing products. The position also involves providing technical analysis and support for ingredients, conducting sensory evaluations, and managing product sampling and laboratory testing.
The Food Technologist will ensure all product development complies with global food safety and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, FSSC), participate in internal and external audits, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance products and processes, including equipment management, while maintaining accurate documentation and technical reports.
Qualifications- Degree qualified in Food Science or Technology-related field.
- Good experience as an application technologist, R&D technologist.
- Good knowledge in ISO and FSSC certifications.
- Knowledge & understanding of equipment, ingredients & their functions
- Languages required – English (Intermediate/Advanced).
