Full-Time Chef Hanami Asian Street Food
Location: Coolum Beach, QLD 4573 About Us Hanami Asian Street Food is a busy and well-established Asian Fusion restaurant located in the heart of Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast. We are passionate about creating fresh, high-quality Asian-inspired dishes and delivering an outstanding dining experience. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Full-Time Chef to join our team. Position Full-Time Chef

• Permanent Full-Time
• 38–40 hours per week
• Based in Coolum Beach, QLD

Salary $79,500 per annum plus superannuation. Salary may be negotiated depending on skills and experience. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide range of Asian Fusion dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Assist with menu planning, recipe development and seasonal menu updates.
• Ensure food quality, presentation and consistency at all times.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Monitor stock levels, rotate stock and minimise food waste.
• Assist with ordering and inventory management.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality.
• Train and support junior kitchen staff where required.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver an excellent dining experience.

Skills & Experience Applicants should have:

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
• At least 2 years of relevant full-time experience as a Chef.
• Experience in Asian Fusion or Modern Asian cuisine is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A positive attitude, reliability and strong teamwork skills.
