Qualifications:- Educational and experience requirements include a High School diploma or GED.
- Proficient in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
- Proficient communication skills including verbal and written, interpersonal and organizational.

- Ability to travel as required, which may include out-of-town travel.
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lb. of equipment over all types of terrain.
- All-weather year-round outdoor work environment, with seasonal extreme heat index and wind-chill factors
- Other physical attributes of the job, such as hiking, climbing, vegetation management (chopping, cutting, hammering, sawing, etc.)
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- 1 - 3 years’ experience
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS and other civil engineering tools is a plus.
- SIT is a plus·
- OPT/Work permit in USA is required at minimum.
Responsibilities:- Collects data for boundaries, location, topographical, and design surveys
- Operates robotic total station, level, GPS Receivers and data collectors in performance of field surveys
- Sets points on construction stakeout projects (curb and gutter, drop inlets, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, waterline, bridges, etc.)
- Assists in determining elevations and laying out stakes; marks points of measurement with required data; assists in measuring between points; places stakes at designated points and specified elevations.
- Able to follow detailed instructions and pay close attention to detail.
- Able to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Prepare a hand drawn house sketch with detailed feature measurements using tape measure and laser distance meter.
- Prepare detailed maps and reports based on survey data.
- Utilize AutoCAD, and Civil 3D for drafting and design purposes.
- Perform utility locating to identify underground utilities before construction.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment of survey data with project specifications.
- Analyze survey results and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Maintain accurate records of survey data and project documentation.
- Open manhole lids and measure utility inverts with level and laser distance meter.
- Write field notes of measure down inverts, tree diameters, height of instrument, etc.
- Take detailed photo loop of project site.
- 1-3 days a week in the office to help process survey data, and coordinate survey schedules.
- 2-4 days a week of field work (Depending on workload).
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards throughout the surveying process.
- Willing to learn new concepts and adapt to new technologies.
- Conducts daily maintenance and up-keep of instruments
- Performs other duties as assigned
