Millwright - Relocate to the Netherlands

Introduction Our client, a leading player in the industrial bakery sector, is looking for a qualified Millwright to join their maintenance team in a modern, fast-paced production environment. You’ll be part of a growing community of South African Millwrights and engineers already thriving in the Netherlands.   We offer full relocation support, including visa sponsorship, accommodation assistance, Dutch integration, and more. Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Conduct routine mechanical and electrical inspections
• Troubleshoot and repair faults across automated bakery machinery
• Test and commission machinery and installations
• Identify root causes of breakdowns and propose long-term solutions
• Provide input on equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
• Educate machine operators on proper equipment use to reduce downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintenance standards

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Completed Red Seal Millwright trade certificate
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical maintenance within FMCG or high-volume manufacturing
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Experience with automated production lines, PLC fault-finding, and electromechanical systems beneficial

Job Requirements

• Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands (relocation support provided)
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional maintenance team
• Committed to learning Dutch (language course provided)
