Head of Australia, Human Capital Solutions

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial leader to kick off and grow our Australia business. Based in Melbourne, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on building businesses from the ground up, leveraging regional networks, and driving sustainable growth. You will play a pivotal role in positioning IntelliPro as a trusted partner in Executive Search, Recruitment & Staffing, HR Solutions, Payroll & EOR, RPO, BPO, and Workforce Transformation across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership & Growth

• Define and execute the strategic direction for IntelliPro Australia, ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives.
• Lead P&L ownership, including budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, with accountability for profitability and growth.
• Identify, develop, and manage client relationships across multinational and local enterprises, positioning IntelliPro as a partner of choice.
• Build a robust pipeline of business opportunities and oversee execution from strategy to delivery.
• Drive new market entry strategies, positioning IntelliPro competitively in Australia’s HR solutions market.

Service Delivery & Client Success

• Own the end-to-end recruitment and HR solutions process, ensuring superior experiences for clients and candidates.
• Partner with clients to design talent sourcing, attraction, and workforce solutions tailored to their needs.
• Oversee the delivery of recruitment campaigns, payroll, EOR, and outsourcing projects, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and timely outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to Australian employment laws, Fair Work compliance, and statutory obligations.

People Leadership & Culture

• Recruit, develop, and lead a high performing team in Australia, providing coaching, mentorship, and career development.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and entrepreneurial culture aligned with IntelliPro’s global values.
• Set clear goals, implement accountability frameworks, and ensure KPIs are met at both team and individual levels.

Stakeholder Engagement & Regional Collaboration

• Work closely with regional and global leadership teams to identify synergies and support cross-border client opportunities.
• Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to inform regional strategy.
• Represent IntelliPro in Australia, strengthening the brand through thought leadership, networking, and industry engagement.

Compliance & Licensing (Australia) The Head of Australia will also serve as the legal and regulatory representative of IntelliPro in Australia. Working with the regional operations team to ensure the following is taken care of:

• Ensure the entity maintains a valid Labour Hire Licence (mandatory in Victoria, Queensland, and South Australia) and comply with all reporting obligations.
• Guarantee adherence to Fair Work Act 2009, National Employment Standards (NES), and relevant Modern Awards.
• Oversee compliance with superannuation guarantee obligations, payroll tax, and Work Health & Safety (WHS) regulations.
• Ensure correct classification of employees vs. contractors in line with ATO guidelines and avoid sham contracting risks.
• Manage visa and immigration compliance for sponsored employees under the Subclass 482 (TSS) visa and other relevant programs.
• Work with corporate secretarial and legal advisors to ensure proper ASIC filings, ABN/ACN registration, and corporate governance are upheld.
• Act as the key liaison with regulators, auditors, and external advisors to ensure IntelliPro’s operations remain fully compliant in Australia.

About You

• Proven track record in leading recruitment, HR outsourcing, or professional services within Australia.
• Strong knowledge of Australian labor regulations, Fair Work framework, and payroll/EOR models.
• Demonstrated ability to build businesses from scratch, including client acquisition, team leadership, and financial management.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience, adaptability, and a growth-oriented outlook.
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
