About UsWonowon Petro-Canada is a busy highway service stop located at Mile 101 on the Alaska Highway. We serve local residents, oil and gas workers, and travelers passing through Northern BC. We operate fuel services, a full convenience store, and Chester’s Chicken. We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team.This is a rural location. Applicants must be willing to relocate to Wonowon, BC. Employee housing is available. Requirements

• Previous cashier or retail experience preferred

• Strong communication skills in English

• Basic math skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Must be reliable and punctual

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs

• Must be willing to relocate to a rural community

• Operate POS system and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately

• Provide friendly and professional customer service

• Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays

• Maintain cleanliness of store, washrooms, and food service areas

• Assist with fuel pump monitoring and customer inquiries

• Receive deliveries and organize inventory

• Follow food safety and health regulations when assisting in kitchen area (if required)

• Balance cash register and complete end-of-shift reports

• Support team members during busy periods

Requirements
