What you’ll be doing
As our first go-to-market hire, you will work closely with the co-founders to grow the sales pipeline, land, and close our enterprise customer contracts. You will define and execute the sales playbook with the co-founders. Examples of activities include:
  • Define and execute the GTM strategy and roadmap: ICPs, messaging, positioning, pricing, and competitive intelligence.
  • Run the full sales cycle from outreach to closing — with early enterprise and mid-market customers: reach out to prospects, meet with them, demo the product, negotiate and close contracts $50k-100k+. This will include finding new ways to get to our customers and execute on those, organising events, and attending conferences.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality communications, presentations, and reports for our customers and prospects.
  • Build scalable demand generation, content, and product marketing experiments to drive top-of-funnel activity.


This role is for an energetic, curious, scrappy and hungry operator - with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills - who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. We see this role as a continuous escalator towards taking more responsibility at Ankar.
What we are looking for
  • Have 2+ years experience in B2B GTM or sales, strategy consulting, law, or banking
  • Thrives in a fast-paced & ambiguous environment. You work quickly and iteratively. We work at a high-velocity to ensure we are delivering value and and leading the market.

  • [Bonus points] Have experience working in early-stage startups, commercialising AI or IP-related products, or selling to law firms, patent attorneys or in-house IP professionals.

  • Contract: Full-time
  • Compensation: We pay competitive salaries and will reward you with a substantial equity package under the tax-efficient EMI scheme.
