Cleaning(Chemical) Technician (Full-Time)

X & Y Cleaning Ltd a specialist provider, seek a Chemical Cleaning Technician to prepare, mix, and manage specialized solutions while ensuring compliance with safety/regulatory standards. Responsibilities include inventory management, SOP updates, client collaboration, and on-site team support. The role requires commitment to continuous learning, with NZQA certificati training provided. Key Responsibilities:

• Chemical Operations: Prepare, mix, and adjust cleaning solutions per SOPs; conduct quality tests.

• Safety Compliance: Manage chemical storage, disposal, and SDS documentation; enforce WorkSafe NZ & HSNO Act standards.

• Client Engagement: Provide tailored chemical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and communicate technical advice via email/WeChat.

• Equipment & Inventory: Operate/maintain chemical preparation equipment; monitor stock levels and order supplies.

• Team Support: Train staff on safe chemical handling and spill response protocols.

Core Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or 2+ years’ hands-on chemical handling experience.

• Proven knowledge of hazardous material regulations (PPE, spill management).

• Physical ability to lift heavy containers (20kg+).

• Strong communication skills (technical & non-technical audiences).
