Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We are seeking an experienced contract manager to lead and manage the delivery of major refurbishment and maintenance contracts for existing structures. You’ll be joining a team with a reputation for delivery of innovative and complex projects within operational road networks. This role involves developing and overseeing programmes of strengthening, refurbishment and maintenance works for clients with portfolios of structural assets. It includes preparing procurement plans, tender documents, tender evaluation and administering of physical works contracts. Ko wai koe | About you You’ll bring a strong mix of technical expertise, industry experience, and professional credentials to this role. Specifically, you’ll have:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and professional body certification or registration
  • Proven experience in a consulting environment, delivering infrastructure projects
  • Expertise in structural and/or civil engineering maintenance and refurbishment
  • Hands-on experience with NZS3910 contract administration within the infrastructure sector
  • CPEng and/or NZTA accreditations or certification under NZS3910 (advantageous)
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • A commitment to operational excellence and long-term asset value
