The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The company is also planning to expand to the Chinese market. Thus, the candidate must be fluent in Mandarin and English. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to contribute to our strategic expansion and enhance our market presence. Previous Sales and Business Development expertise is a must. The candidate must also be detail-oriented and business-savvy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and secure new opportunities and B2B contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients through effective communication and personalised service.
- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align strategies and maximise outreach efforts.
- Utilise detailed methods to track leads, manage client information, and analyse sales data for informed decision-making.
- Attend networking functions and client meetings to promote the organisation’s services.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Requirements:- Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within the relevant industry sector.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English is essential. Additional languages are also a welcome bonus.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams alike.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
- A recognised qualification in business administration or related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
