COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS NP-Hospitalist (NP-HOSP)
- Salary: $190,000 (with experience)
- Signing Bonus: $50,000 for a 5-year contract
- Relocation Assistance: $12,000
- Full-range Benefits; Medical Education Allowance: $3,500 with 40 hours
- Minnesota Public Employees Retirement Association and become vested in 3 years
RESPONSIBILITIES AND FACILITY DETAILS NP-Hospitalist (NP-HOSP)
- Schedule: Work 7 x 12-hour shifts from Tuesday to Monday, then off work the next 7 days
- No night shifts (after-hours are covered by a Tele-hospitalist group)
- Average Daily Census is 5-10 patients; Swing Beds are 2-3 PPD
- Most patients are age 18 and older with geriatric patients; there is a doctor to see the pediatric patients
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NP-Hospitalist (NP-HOSP)
- Experience in a acute care hospital role, medical surgery and can work independently
- Family Nurse Practitioners Degree
- A Team player, good bedside manner with listening skills, compassionate with patients, warm personality
- Might consider H1-B or J-1 Visa Candidates
