Job Description:
THE OPPORTUNITYWe are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to co-lead solution design and delivery across Duck Creek Policy & Claims workstreams. You will work at the intersection of architecture, engineering leadership, and stakeholder collaboration - shaping integration patterns, mentoring development teams, and ensuring every solution meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.This is a senior, autonomous role suited to a practitioner who thrives across complex environments, communicates with authority, and takes genuine ownership of delivery outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Co-lead end-to-end solution design and configuration aligned to business and technical requirements across multiple workstreams
  • Configure and implement Duck Creek Policy & Claims solutions; develop, demo, and iterate prototypes with stakeholders
  • Facilitate architectural walkthroughs, requirements sessions, and structured feedback sessions with project teams
  • Provide architectural input into integration patterns, data flows, and effort estimation
  • Partner closely with enterprise architects, project managers, and delivery leads to manage risks, dependencies, and scope
  • Support integration with internal platforms and third-party systems using Duck Creek APIs, messaging, and services
  • Participate in code reviews, defect triage, performance tuning, and testing cycles
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering practices, tooling, and delivery processes
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior and mid-level Duck Creek developers
  • Collaborate effectively with on-shore, near-shore, and off-shore teams in a high-trust environment
  • Ensure solutions adhere to architectural standards, security controls, and best-practice configuration guidelines

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Atleast a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years in software engineering with strong hands-on Duck Creek configuration experience
  • Proven implementation of Duck Creek Policy & Claims platforms in complex, multi-workstream environments
  • Duck Creek Bootcamp certification (or equivalent) highly regarded
  • Deep understanding of Duck Creek architecture, product model, data structures, and core processing flows
  • Experience integrating Duck Creek with internal systems, external partners, and enterprise middleware
  • Strong P&C insurance background - underwriting, rating, policy lifecycle, and billing operations
  • Experience with legacy data migration is an added advantage
  • Confident facilitator with experience running workshops, requirements sessions, and technical walkthroughs
  • Able to work autonomously across multiple projects while maintaining high quality and delivery discipline
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and articulate design decisions clearly
