THE ROLE
We’re looking to hire a Scientist in Natural Product Discovery for ODDITY LABS with a strong focus on nutraceuticals. In this role, you will:

• Work closely and collaborate with Platform within ODDITY LABS to identify natural compounds, including peptides and proteins, for oral delivery to modulate our target indications (hair loss, weight management, etc.)
• Conceive, plan, and execute studies to support R&D projects in our pipelines.
• Lead research programs focused on molecule discovery, high-throughput screening, target validation, and assay development.
• Refine and continuously evolve existing pipelines to enable data-driven decision-making, accelerating proof-of-concept to product stages and ensuring robust validation pipelines for natural compounds.
• Develop and/or standardize protocols to support synthesis and scale-up for natural compounds.
• Stay apprised of new natural compound discovery trends and implement new technologies that further enhance the capabilities of ODDITY LABS.
• Lead scientific assessments of M&A opportunities for our target indications, supporting cross-functional teams.
• Develop and present new concepts in partnership with ODDITY LABS and ODDITY leaders, highlighting innovations in natural compounds.
• Foster a culture of innovation and leadership within ODDITY LABS and across ODDITY teams.

WHO YOU ARE

• You hold a PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or PharmD in Bioengineering or Biology with 6+ years of industry experience, with a proven track record in natural compound discovery or related fields.
• You have extensive knowledge of current biology techniques and their application to natural compounds.
• You have extensive experience with mammalian cell culture, particularly experience with handling primary human cells. Experience with stem cells, and/or iPSC differentiation.
• You have a deep understanding of natural compounds biology, with experience translating research findings into practical applications for nutraceuticals.
• You are a hard worker with a high level of accountability and a passion for solving complex biochemistry problems in a dynamic environment.
• You are a strong problem solver with a deep curiosity and desire to tackle challenging natural compound research questions.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders, including those focused on hair growth / loss solutions.
• You are adaptable and a team player, willing to take on ad hoc tasks to support the company’s growth and goals in hair growth / loss.
• Preferred experience: Pre-clinical in-vitro testing within natural compound discovery, particularly for nutraceuticals.
