Carpenter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented carpenter with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will cut, shape, and assemble wooden elements for the construction of buildings and other structures. You will also work with other materials such as plastic and metal to create, maintain, and repair woodwork and fittings. This role requires precision, creativity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, install, and repair wooden structures and fittings for internal and external frameworks.
• Measure, cut, shape, fit, and assemble wood to create templates and components based on technical designs.
• Use machinery and hand tools for cutting wood, such as saws, planes, and chisels.
• Work collaboratively with suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure project efficiency.
• Produce detailed cutting lists and manage materials inventory effectively.
• Examine drawings and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Select and measure appropriate wood and other materials, ensuring they meet design specifications.
• Conduct on-site construction tasks and maintain a versatile approach to broader construction duties.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in carpentry or a similar role.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools, as well as machinery for cutting and shaping wood.
• Strong understanding of technical designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent measuring and marking skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work on-site in various construction environments.
• Good collaboration and communication skills with team members, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
• Knowledge of additional materials (plastic, metal) and their use in woodwork is a plus.
