About the roleWe are seeking experienced and talented chefs to join our team at Da Mario in Rosebery NSW 2018. These multiple full-time roles are an exciting opportunity to be a key part of our vibrant restaurant and contribute to the overall success of our business.
Chef responsibilities- Responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality, creative dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Maintaining excellent standard of food presentation and portion control
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and optimise kitchen operation
- Work closely with the Head Chef, Restaurant Managers to monitor feedback on popularity of all dishes
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assisting with inventory management and stock control
- Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive team culture
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment ensuring compliance with all food safety legislation and food handling policies and procedures
- Managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of the kitchen
What we're looking for- Significant experience in a reputable restaurant or similar hospitality establishment (2 year minimum )
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, flavour profiles and current food trends
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive kitchen culture
- Relevant qualifications in Hospitality, Culinary Arts or a related field
