Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable frontend applications to improve Uber Freight’s Transportation Management Platform.
Qualifications:
Required: • Minimum 3-5 years of software engineering experience • Strong problem solving and coding skills • Experience developing frontend with React, Java, Node JS • Experience developing highly scalable frontend micro-services
Preferred: • BS, MS, or PhD degree in computer science, related field or equivalent practical experience • Experience with C, C++, Java, Python or Go • Experience using Javascript and web frameworks like Angular, Vue, etc. • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms and the ability to use them practically when implementing solutions • Experience shipping high-quality product features on schedule • Experience developing web applications; good understanding of javascript • Experience with one of the following databases: MySQL, Cassandra • Proven experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers • Experience with Go and React • Knowledge if the logistics and freight industry is a bonus
