Lecturer in Criminology
Role: Lecturer in Criminology Department: Applied Social and Policy Sciences Grade: 7/8 - £40,269 - £56,954 per annum pro-rata Responsible to: Head of School of Applied Social and Policy Sciences Campus: Belfast (Fixed-term until July 2025/Part Time 0.5FTE) Job Purpose: The School of Applied Social and Policy Sciences is a leading hub for criminology and criminal justice research and teaching. The criminology team enjoys strong relationships with civil society, and the criminal justice sector, which underpins our teaching and research programmes. Criminology has a distinguished reputation for high quality research, meaningful research impact, and taught programmes marked by dedicated student support and action-based learning. The post will contribute to the teaching of Criminology and Criminal Justice. The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to teach across the undergraduate and postgraduate provision within the academic area where the post resides. We may create a 12-month waiting list for same or similar roles within the Department / Faculty.
