Asian-style katsu-focused restaurant from 5pm–9pm.Our cafe was acquired 6 months ago and we are now looking for a talented
Head Chef to lead the next stage of our growth.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for:
- Menu development for both brunch and katsu-style dinner
- Setting up and maintaining smooth kitchen operations and systems
- Training and leading other chefs and kitchen staff
- Monitoring inventory and ordering supplies as required
- Managing food costs and minimising waste
- Ensuring consistent quality, food safety and cleanliness
About You- Experienced chef in an Australian brunch cafe preferable
- Strong skills in menu development, costing and kitchen systems
- Able to lead, train and motivate a small team
- Organised, reliable and comfortable working across both brunch and Asian-style katsu offerings
What We Offer- Salary $80,000 – $90,000 per year, negotiable depending on experience
