Job Description

• Specialty: Specialty Doctor Psychiatry | General Adult Psychiatry
• Location: Birmingham
• We are offering a 12-month fixed-term Specialty Doctor position based in Birmingham, with the opportunity to gain experience in both community and inpatient mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support assessment and ongoing care of adults with mental health conditions.
• Contribute to the multidisciplinary team and collaborate with social care partners.
• Provide input to MHA assessments and risk management reviews.
• Enjoy weekly SPA sessions and a structured development plan.
• CESR support available for international candidates.
• Ensure full compliance and clearance to work (assistance available).
• Complete DBS/Police Check.
• Qualifications:
  
  MBBS or equivalent, GMC registration, MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
