Landscape Laborer

Begin date: 4/1/2025 Full Time: Yes Number of Workers Requested: 55 Job Duties: Use hand and/or power tools or equipment to perform a wide range of landscaping and irrigation duties, including laying sod, planting, pruning, weed pulling/chopping, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation. Plant trees, shrubs and flowers. Haul topsoil and mulch. Entry level. Job Classification: 37-3011.00 - Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers Experience Required: No Special Requirements: Saturday work required, when necessary. Hours may vary and overtime required based on weather and project need. Workers must be able to lift and carry weights of up to 50 lbs. when necessary, such as with mulch, fertilizer, or other materials. They should have the capability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials needed to complete their assigned tasks. The employer will rely on workers' self-representations and observations to assess whether they meet this requirement. The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.20(k). On-the-job training will not be provided. Drug testing and post-hire background check may be required after hire but before the commencement of employment at the employers expense for all workers, both U.S./domestic and H-2B workers. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation at the company's sole discretion based on individual factors, including work performance, skill, or tenure. Travel to Brightview offices and worksite locations in Salt Lake, Weber, Davis, Tooele, Utah, Summit, Wasatch, Cache, and Morgan Counties of Utah.
