SCM Project or Program Manager

SCM Project or Program Manager Introduction: We are seeking an experienced SCM Project or Program Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex retail initiatives, ensuring alignment across business, product, engineering, data, and vendor teams. This role involves driving prioritization, managing cross-functional workflows, and ensuring capabilities are delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with strategic business outcomes. Responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale projects from discovery and planning through execution and rollout.
• Partner closely with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, Digital, and other business teams to gather requirements and define success criteria.
• Facilitate prioritization and roadmap discussions across business and technical teams.
• Translate business needs into clear project plans, timelines, scope definitions, and measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate with engineering, data, integration, and vendor teams to ensure system designs and data flows are implemented correctly.
• Identify risks, issues, and cross-team dependencies, driving mitigation plans and escalations when required.
• Prepare and deliver project dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries for senior leadership.
• Manage project ceremonies, steering committee updates, and communications across all organizational levels.
• Ensure data readiness, governance processes, and workflow changes are validated prior to deployment.
• Track initiative progress, monitor KPIs, and ensure accountability against milestones and deliverables.
• Support UAT, cutover planning, training, and change management for smooth adoption across the business.

Requirements: Must-Have Skills:

• 7+ years of Project or Program Management experience in technical, digital, retail, or supply-chain environments.
• Strong experience with Item attributes, data flows, SKU setup, vendor onboarding, or merchandising-related processes.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive prioritization with senior business stakeholders.
• Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level communication.
