Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School - Baystate Health, is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our organization in western Massachusetts.

Qualifications: ABMS BC/BE in Gastroenterology with clinical focus on general gastroenterology and a strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning is essential.
Compensation: The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
Gastroenterology: $530,000 $571,500 $650,000
Baystate Noble Hospital (BNH), located in Westfield, Massachusetts, offers a variety of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, pulmonary rehabilitation, acute inpatient rehabilitation, cardiac, behavioral health, and emergency services for over 80,000 local residents in the Baystate Noble service area. Baystate Noble Hospital’s network also includes Noble Medical Group Primary Care Physicians and Specialists, Baystate Home Health, and Noble Sports & Rehabilitation Center. Located 20 minutes from Baystate Medical Center, BNH excels in providing community medical care while benefiting from a strong relationship with our large academic tertiary hospital. - Join our integrated Division of Gastroenterology which consists of 12 GIs and 9 advanced practitioners who practice in several locations across western MA.
- Step into a well-run general gastroenterology practice with a full patient panel at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, MA.
- State-of-the-art endoscopy lab with excellent turnover times and experienced staff. Complex cases can be sent to nearby Baystate Medical Center, our academic hospital.
- If desired, potential to teach our GI fellows and participate in research/QI projects as a faculty member with an appointment to UMass Chan Medical School – Baystate.
- Enjoy practicing in a close-knit hospital with a team that is dedicated to providing excellent patient-centered care to the local community. Excellent support from the larger GI division. Ability to participate in academic programs, conferences and lectures at the main campus and partner with specialists.
