About the Role:We are seeking motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join our expanding Structural Engineering Team based in our Sydney, NSW office. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of projects ranging from residential to commercial developments, while contributing to all phases of structural design and construction.In this role, you will play an integral part in the successful delivery of structural engineering projects. You will work closely with the Rincovitch team across both the design and construction phases, contributing to the preparation of structural documentation, coordinating with key stakeholders, and providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle. The position also involves supporting project leaders, acting as a point of contact during construction, and ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Standards and design codes.This is an excellent opportunity to influence projects at a high level, contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking workplace, and grow within a company that values leadership, innovation, and genuine collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:· Collaborate with Rincovitch team members during both design and construction phases· Prepare structural reports, drawings, and design documentation· Liaise with engineers, project managers and other professional staff throughout the project lifestyle· Perform structural calculations for all elements of concrete buildings· Apply a solid understanding of relevant design codes and Australian Standards· Conduct shop drawing reviews and provide technical feedback· Attend construction site inspections and meetings when required· Assist project leaders in the successful delivery of projects· Act as a key point of contact during the construction phase of assigned projects· Contribute to broader business functions and support various tasks as required· Reviewing precast drawings and precast concept drawings
Requirements:· Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (essential)· 2-4 years of experience as a Structural Engineer in medium to high rise concrete structures and precast structures· Understanding of Australian Standards for structural design· Proficiency required in specified software packages including ETABS, RAPT, RAM Concept, SpaceGass, Structural Toolkit, Excel, and Bluebeam· Proficient in hand calculations to assess loads and do spot check to compare with computer analysis· Proficient knowledge of construction methods· Three-dimensional conceptual skills· Ability to liaise with professionals from other disciplines· Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills· Ability to liaise with professionals from other disciplines· Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills· Meticulous attention to detail with super organisational skills· A strong work ethic, with ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines· Ability to work independently with minimum guides and as part of a team· Proficient communication and IT skills
