About The Role

The Director, Government & Public Sector (G&PS) Practice is a market-facing leadership role accountable for business growth, client relationships, and ensuring customer success across PwC’s public sector portfolio. This role focuses on revenue generation, senior stakeholder engagement, and ensuring successful outcomes and long-term client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development & Sales Leadership (Primary Focus)

  • Originate and close large public sector opportunities
  • Drive go-to-market strategy across Singapore government agencies
  • Build a strong pre-engaged pipeline through early client engagement
  • Lead proposals, commercial positioning and partner alignment
  • Expand PwC footprint through repeat and cross-agency opportunities

Client Relationship Leadership

  • Build trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders
  • Act as a strategic advisor on transformation priorities
  • Own account strategy and engagement planning
  • Drive new opportunities through strong client relationships

Customer Success & Outcome Ownership

  • Own overall client success across engagements
  • Ensure programmes deliver expected outcomes
  • Act as escalation point for key delivery challenges
  • Drive repeat business and long-term client value

Delivery Oversight

  • Provide executive oversight of key programmes
  • Ensure alignment with client expectations and outcomes
  • Partner with delivery teams to manage risks
  • Focus on outcomes rather than execution

Ecosystem & Partnerships

  • Build relationships with system integrators and technology partners
  • Drive co-sell and co-delivery strategies
  • Strengthen PwC’s position in government ecosystems

Commercial Accountability

  • Own revenue and growth targets
  • Manage pipeline and conversion rates
  • Drive profitability and account expansion

About You

Experience & Profile

  • 15+ years in consulting or public sector
  • Strong business development and sales experience
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of Singapore public sector
