Job Description
Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team, working across both a main Hospital and branch surgeries.
This role involves a mix of team-based work at the main practice and sole charge at branch locations. The rota consists of a four-day workweek with a share of long weekends off, a 1:5 weekend rotation, and no OOH duties. Flexible working patterns are available.
The practice fosters an inclusive and positive working environment, with a team comprising 7 Vets, 4 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 1 VCA, and 6 Receptionists. A full driving licence is required for travel between sites.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of post-qualification experience, be confident in both surgery and routine consults, and be capable of managing their own cases while also contributing to a collaborative team environment. An interest in small furries is welcomed but not essential.
The practice is well-established with a loyal client base and a supportive team. The main site is fully equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical facilities, including ECG, digital x-ray, ultrasound, an Idexx lab suite, a Doppler blood pressure monitor, and a Tonometer. The practice has a busy and varied caseload, providing opportunities for professional growth.
