Role Overview:As a Travel Agency Manager, your primary focus will be to oversee the operations of our travel agency, ensuring exceptional service delivery and maximising sales performance. You will lead a team of Travel Sales Consultants, motivating and guiding them to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer experiences. A crucial part of your role will be the recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and overseeing the overall operations and strategic direction of the travel agency.
• Developing and implementing business plans and strategies to achieve company objectives and targets.
• Managing financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, such as travel suppliers, partners, and clients.
• Analysing market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats in the industry.
• Recruiting, training, and mentoring staff members to ensure a high level of professionalism and service quality.
• Setting performance goals and KPIs for the team, monitoring progress, and providing guidance as needed.
• Driving sales and revenue growth through effective marketing, pricing strategies, and product offerings.
• Developing and maintaining operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Handling escalated customer issues and complaints, seeking resolution, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
• Staying updated on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Utilising technology tools and systems to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.
• Analysing data and metrics to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions.
• Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote services.
• Monitoring and managing risk factors, such as safety, security, and legal liabilities, to protect the company’s interests.
• Fostering a positive work culture and environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience as a travel agency manager or Diploma / Higher plus 1 year of experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for travel and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Experience in staff recruitment, training, and development.
• Multilingual skills are a significant advantage.
