Experienced Electrical Switchboard Fitter

We’re looking for experienced Switchboard Builders to join our growing team. Based in New Lynn, we manufacture quality custom switchboards and control panels for our clients nationwide and the Pacific. Typical responsibilities and skills needed for this role include: • Be able to read from schematic drawings and wiring diagrams in various formats • Cabinet assembly • Identifying the correct materials for the task • Wiring circuits • Copper busbar work • Modifying, repairing, and developing switchboards & control panels • On-going quality control, inspection of switchboards, and fault-finding in electrical systems and drawings. • Store work as required Applicants must: • Have electrical switchboard building experience – ideally 5 years • Have NZ working rights, including AEWV approval • Have a good command of English • Be fit for this line of work as it entails heavy lifting If you tick all of the above AND you’re a team player, have excellent time management skills and enjoy delivering tidy/quality work…then we'd like to hear from you.
