Responsibilities- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Set up and stock workstations with all necessary supplies and ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff as required.
- Participate in menu planning and development by providing feedback on dishes.
Qualifications- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a busy kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- A passion for food and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
- Culinary qualifications or relevant training is an advantage but not essential.
