Consulting Pensions Actuary Manager

About the role You will be part of the national Pensions team within Workforce consulting services. This will be a client facing role that requires strong technical as well as written and verbal communication skills. You will need to be driven and passionate about providing a high level of service. What your days will look like:

• Producing high quality, technically accurate client deliverables
• Proactively managing a portfolio of clients
• Establishing effective working relationships with individuals internally
• Contribute to coaching for junior members of our own team
• Taking a proactive role in the financial management of the client
• Contributing to the development of personal and team knowledge
• Building your own network of contacts through regular attendance at internal and external meetings
• Staying up to date with changes in law, topical issues in the industry and in the firm's products and services

This role is for you if:

• Must possess an actuarial (IFoA) Qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
• You have acquired relevant experience in UK pensions within an actuarial advisory team, demonstrating excellent team collaboration, organizational, and communication skills.
• Your ability to work effectively under tight deadlines is commendable.
• Ideally, you are based in or near Edinburgh to facilitate team and client-related activities.
