What We Offer: Flexible working Hrs: Working hrs are flexible and cater to your personal needs. We are open Monday-Friday 9am-7pm and Saturday 8am-2pm. Hybrid Role: The role is hybrid, it is a combination on in-clinic and offsite clients. You have the freedom to manage your client list based on your availability. Monthly Supervision Sessions: We value the importance of supervision in professional growth and development. Our team members participate in monthly supervision sessions, where they receive guidance, support, and constructive feedback from experienced supervisors.
Tasks and Responsibilities Include: * Assess the physical condition of the patient and diagnose problems and make records of treatments and progress * Use various treatments to alleviate patients’ pain, improve cardiovascular and respiratory functions or increase function, strength, mobility and coordination. * Design treatment plans and exercise programs * Provide support and assist patients with the implementation of treatment plans and programs and provide continuous monitoring and evaluation of plans and programs * Instruct and train patients to perform daily activities * Assist patients with the use of aids including splints, crutches and wheelchairs * Educate patients and their family to help patients lead a healthy life and prevent further injury * May issue Medical Certificates for patients who have had time off work * Work with a range of paediatric and adult patients with various conditions. The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company. We are workers compensation, third party, Medicare, Private Health, NDIS approved providers. Required Skills, Experience and Education * A relevant bachelor degree or higher (overseas qualifications accepted) * At least 2 years of full-time relevant work experience * Current AHPRA registration to practice or eligibility to apply for registration for overseas candidates * Organisational and time management skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team * Excellent attention to detail and professional communication skills * Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members Benefits: * Employee discount * Employee mentoring program * Professional development assistance Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Flexible hours Perks of the role: * Above award rate pay * Work within a Physiotherapy Department- there is full time support and learning opportunities * Professional Development is encouraged * Multidisciplinary team with four clinics-well established Allied Health business
