Fremont | Job Duties: Job duties for commercial landscaping requires
capability to operate large walk behind and riding mowers, grass trimmers,
hand trimmers, pruning shears, grass edgers, backpack blowers and other
basic landscape equipment such as shovels, rakes, hole diggers and hoes.
Weekly lawn mowing and grass removal on commercial property, commercial
landscape maintenance of plants, shrubs, and trees all on ground level.
Hardscape repairs to landscape areas construction or installation involving
the restoration or maintenance of non-living elements in outdoor spaces,
such as non-plant and grass landscape areas, walkways with crushed rock or
sand as base element, rock, or boulder areas. In cases where hardscape
materials are required per customers request, designed elements selected
during planning stage are placed in proper locations in landscape area.
Established hardscape areas severely damaged beyond repair, complete
replacement may be necessary. This involves removing the damaged elements and
installing new ones, ensuring proper drainage and a level base using
materials like crushed rock, mulch, sand, rocks, or boulders. Tools
include brooms, brushes, rakes, shovels, picks, and wheelbarrows.
Operate and repair intricate sprinkler systems, flower bed installation and
repairs in the spring to include planting of perennial flowers, clearing
dead flowers and landscape plants in the fall and parking lot cleared of
landscape debris spring to fall. Construction and repairing of mortarless
segmental concrete masonry walls. Dates of need: 2025-04-01 to 2025-11-30

from $32.03 p/hr. to $52.50 p/hr. A single workweek is used to compute
wages due, paid weekly. Poss. raises, bonuses, or incentives dependent
on tenure w/company, experience, or job performance. All deductions from
the workers' paycheck required by law will be made. Employer will provide
workers at n/c all tools, supplies & equip. required to perform the job.
Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa and border
crossing fees, in-bound transportation, daily subsistence and hotel costs
from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer to
employer's place of business. The amount of transportation payment or
reimbursement will be equal to the most economical & reasonable common
carrier for the distances involved. Upon completion of the work contract or
where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for
workers reasonable costs of return transportation & daily subsistence to the
place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will
not return due to subsequent employment w/another employer. The employer is
responsible for paying inbound transportation costs in the first workweek of
employment to the extent that shifting such costs to the employees (either
directly or indirectly) would effectively not bring the workers' wages
below the FLSA minimum wage. Employer will provide or pay for charter bus
services or other modes of transportation to groups of H-2B or U.S. workers or
will permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and
reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common
carrier transportation charges for the distances involved. The remainder of
inbound transportation, meals, and hotel expenses to be reimbursed to the
worker at the 50% point of the contract. As per FLSA requirements, daily
meal subsistence is paid. Outbound transportation and subsistence will be
provided/paid by the emplo er where the worker completes the work contract
period, or is terminated without cause, and no subsequent H-2B employment
is available. Employer will provide or pay for charter bus services or other
modes of transportation to groups of H-2B or U.S. workers or will permit
workers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse
workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier
transportation charges for the distances involved at the end of the contract
or worker termination date. Other deductions from employees pay: All
deductions required by law will be deducted from workers' pay. Employer
