Security Installer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Security Installer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of security systems including CCTV, access control, door entry, gate automation and telecommunication infrastructure. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to work on diverse projects in construction and system design. Responsibilities

• Install security systems such as CCTV cameras, access control, intruder alarm, door entry, gate automatikn and telecommunication networks in accordance with schematics and system design plans.
• Conduct site surveys to determine optimal placement of equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, mount, and connect hardware components accurately.
• Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts to facilitate installation processes.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on installed systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet installation deadlines and specifications.
• Assist in the configuration of computer hardware and network components related to security systems.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols during all phases of installation work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience or training in electrical systems, telecommunication, or construction environments.
• Knowledge of computer networking, hardware, and system design principles.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools and power tools such as drills and screwdrivers.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, IDS technology, schematics, and system architecture.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and wiring schematics accurately.
• Electrical experience or certification is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
