School of Innovation & Technology
Fixed Term – Six months
Location: Glasgow, G3 6RQ
Salary: Grade 7, £44,746 - £56,535 per annum, pro rata

As Lecturer in Product Design within the School of Innovation and Technology, you will provide a challenging and supportive learning experience for all students on the programme, providing world-class teaching and contributing to the academic development of the School of Design within the overall context and vision of the Glasgow School of Art. You will possess a postgraduate degree (or equivalent) in Product Design or a relevant discipline. You will also have experience of teaching at undergraduate level within Higher Education or have experience within the industry, preferably within the field of user-centred design or ‘design for experience’ approaches to practice. You will also have an excellent understanding of current debates, trends and issues relating to the contemporary development of the discipline.
