Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Develop and create innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and minimising waste.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Monitor food quality and portion control to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Handle any customer feedback or complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Curry/ Pizza Chef
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary methods, and food safety practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Creative flair for developing new dishes and enhancing existing recipes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes consistently.
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred.
