Job Summary
Tower Health Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated full-time General Surgeon to join Reading Hospital. Our hospital is committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of general surgeries, including but not limited to abdominal, hernia, gallbladder, and colorectal procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care for surgical patients.
- Participate in on-call rotation and emergency procedures as required.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families about surgical procedures, recovery, and care.
- Stay current with advancements in surgical techniques and best practices through ongoing professional development.
- Teach and mentor surgical residents during their clinical rotations, providing hands-on guidance and formal instruction.
- Participate in teaching conferences, grand rounds, and other educational activities for residents and medical students.
