We are committed to delivering high-quality food andexceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. We are currently seekinga motivated and enthusiastic Cook to join our kitchen team. The role reports directlyto the Head Chef and provides practical, hands-on training across all areas ofcommercial kitchen operations.About the RoleThis is a full-time training position designed for an individual who is passionate aboutdeveloping a career as a Cook. Working alongside experienced chefs/cooks andmanaging all aspects of kitchen operations while contributing to the day-to-daysuccess of the business.Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes andpresentation standards. Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and portion control. Assist with food preparation for daily kitchen operations. Accommodate customer dietary requirements where required. Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards. Assist with stock rotation, inventory control and ordering. Minimise food waste and contribute to cost control initiatives. Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen. Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team during busy serviceperiods. Participate in ongoing workplace training and skills development.About YouTo be successful in this role you will have: 3 years of experience in the kitchen as a cook A genuine passion for cooking and the hospitality industry. A willingness to learn and develop practical commercial cookery skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong time management and organisational skills. A positive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards. Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices (preferred but notessential).What We Offer Full-time employment (38 hours per week). Exposure to all areas of commercial kitchen operations. Supportive team environment. Opportunity to develop practical skills leading towards a professional Cookcareer.Pay: $77,000.00 – $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:
