Fine Line Painting Group P/L is hiring a full-time Painter role in Northern Beaches NSW. Apply now to be part of our team.Requirements for this role:· 4+ years of relevant work experience required for this role.· Full time hours.· Work visa sponsorship may be considered (if required).· Mix, match, and apply paint to various surfaces.· Completing touch-ups, and coordinate painting projects.· Erect scaffolding, movable and immovable staging and various rigging to gain access to difficult areas.· Work on ladders to reach high ceilings or walls.· Make sure all areas not to be painted are taped and protected.· Move furniture and equipment, if necessary.· Remove fixtures such as pictures, doorknobs, lamps, and electric switch covers prior to painting.· Remove old paint and wallpaper. Clean walls to ensure proper adherence.· Scrape, sandpaper, prime, or seal surfaces prior to painting. Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers.· Follow specifications for mixing of paints. Select, match and mix paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, and other finishes.· Using adequate tools apply as many paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, and other finishes as instructed to.· May carry out window repairs and replace glass in both wooden and metal frames. • Have at least 4 years of work experience
• Passion for painting and a willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including standing, bending, lifting and work at heights
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
