The Health Services is seeking
experienced and motivated Anaesthetists to join their dynamic team. As a Specialist/Senior Specialist in Anaesthesia, you will be part of a progressive department providing high-quality anaesthetic care in a rapidly expanding tertiary setting.
The team is growing to meet the evolving demands of the community, with the exciting expansion into the
new Critical Services Building (CSB) — a world-class, 40,000 sqm facility featuring a CT Hybrid OR, intraoperative neurosurgical MRI, and state-of-the-art digital operating theatres.
What’s on Offer:Total package value: $391,042 to $497,774 (dependent on experience)
In addition, for rostered extra surgery scheme work (weekend and evenings) total full time indicative package
value increases to $571,887 to $683,103, dependent on the level of experience and: • Fractional commitment with the extra surgery scheme dependent on Fraction 0.75FTE or greater. • Participation in 10 weekend days and 10 weekday evenings across one year regardless of fraction.

About the RoleAs a Staff or Senior Staff Specialist, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, safe anaesthetic care across a wide range of surgical specialties
- Participate in the on-call roster and the Extra Surgery Scheme (if applicable)
- Supervise and support registrars and junior medical staff
- Engage in education, simulation, and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate in the ongoing development of departmental services and innovation
About YouWe are looking for anaesthetists who are:
- Fellowship-trained (e.g., FANZCA or equivalent recognised by the Medical Board of Australia)
- Eligible for or currently hold specialist registration with AHPRA
- Committed to teamwork, innovation, and teaching
- Experienced in complex perioperative care and keen to work in a tertiary centre
