Nursery Workers

Begin date: 8/8/2026 Full Time: Yes Number of Workers Requested: 49 Job Duties: Operate soil mixing equipment and prepare and plant unrooted cuttings and plugs for fall annuals, fall perennials, spring annuals, spring perennials, and spring vegetable plants; Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, backhoes, and bobtail trucks to pull customer orders from the greenhouse and transport from one location to another; Organize and pull, wrap, and pack fall annuals and perennials and later spring annuals, perennials, and vegetable plants; Perform daily repairs, cleaning, and maintenance to equipment, grounds, buildings, watering systems: Repair and prep all greenhouse structures and equipment (frames, doors, roofs, heaters, etc.) to prepare for winter weather and spring crops; Drive pickup to obtain parts and supplies. Typical workday includes a 1-hour lunch break. May have to work nights, possibly weekends. Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on Sabbath; Three (3) months experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain drivers license within 30 days of hire. May be required to take drug test after hire at no cost to worker. Positive test or refusal to take is grounds for immediate termination. STAGGERED ENTRY OF H2A WORKERS: Pursuant to the 8/25/2025 OFLC announcement of the rescission of the 2011 FAQ and 90 FR 41413, employer seeks to file a single application for Temporary Employment Certification for staggered dates of need. Those dates of need are: 08/08/2026 - 06/07/2027 : 28 workers. 12/15/2026 - 06/07/2027: 12 workers. 02/15/2027 - 06/07/2027: 9 workers.
